The Acts of the Apostles

The Acts of the Apostles provides an exciting narrative of Christianity’s first century as the Faith expands from Jerusalem and extends throughout the Roman Empire. The Acts of the Apostles is the second half of the Gospel of Luke, and recounts the ascension of Jesus, and takes readers through the adventures of early believers seeking to fulfill the Great Commission. Throughout the course, students learn about the persecution of Christians in the decades following ascension of Christ, and examine the formative doctrines as they were developed during the early years of Christianity.
